The French Bulldog is famous for his Bat Ears. Women in America wanted those kept as a breed standard at all costs. They are nicknamed, “Frenchies”. Frenchies do not bark a lot but are still considered good watch dogs because they are very alert to what is going on in their locations. The French Bulldog is part of the Non-Sporting Group. They need a little bit of outdoor exercise and are great in apartment or single family homes. They get along with adults and families and other pets. The Frenchie is great dog which is why he has risen to #2 on the AKC List of 2020 and he broke out to #1 taking it from the Lab in 2022. He is still on top for 2023. 2024 has not been written as yet.
